What are Walk & Trains?
Walk & Trains are much more than a solo dog walking service. With every walk, I will work one-on-one with your dog to help you achieve their behaviour modification goals and cater to their individual needs. This service serves as an extra helping hand to your training regimen and is designed to facilitate your dog’s progression, all while giving them a fulfilling walk where they are left feeling exercised, enriched and empowered. This bespoke service also includes written feedback reports and video footage outlining the training methods and handler skills used by me during the walks so you can replicate the training at home and on your own walks. How Does it Work?
1. If you haven't worked with me before or haven't been referred to me by another positive reinforcement trainer, a minimum of three 1-2-1 consultation sessions are required before beginning the Walk & Train programme. These three 1-2-1 sessions are offered at a discounted package cost of £300. This ensures we establish a strong foundation of training, and we have enough time to thoroughly cover your dog’s behaviour history, routine, unique needs, and create a practical behaviour plan for moving forward.
2. Once the three sessions are completed, our newly established training plan will then be facilitated and carried out through the Walk & Train service. Your dog will be added to the schedule within the available day/time slots, and a minimum of 2 walks per week is required.
3. Walk & Trains operate on a waitlist and are a monthly rolling service, not ad-hoc based. This structured programme is designed for long-term progress and dedication to ensure real lasting improvements. New clients must commit to at least 3 months of Walk & Trains before terminating the service.
